ILLINOIS CHARITABLE TRUST: SENIOR CARE PACKAGES

The Charitable Trust Stabilization Fund (“Fund”) was created in 2007 to help small non-profits across Illinois.  Money for the Fund comes from the filing fees non-profit organizations pay to incorporate with the State of Illinois.  The program is funded by non-profits and exists to support non-profits.

During the Spring 2022 grant cycle, United Way of Northwest Illinois was 1 of 10 recipients - out of 124 applicants - and was awarded $15,000 to provide care packages for seniors living in Stephenson, Jo Daviess & Carroll counties.

The first round of Care Packages were delivered December 16, 2022.

The second round of Care Package requests is closed & Packages will be delivered the week of February 13, 2023.

Another round of Care Packages will be going out in Spring - check back for an announcement of requests being open!
