Lincoln Douglas 5K and Fun Run
Join us for the 12th annual Lincoln Douglas 5K and fun run on August 9th.
This out and back 5K (3.1 miles), wheel measured course consists of flat stretches and gently rolling hills designed to challenge runners of all abilities.
All races start from Debate Square (Corner of Douglass and State), site of the famous Lincoln-Douglas Debate of 1858.
The courses traverse through downtown and residential Freeport, back to Debate Square for the finish.
Registration-7:30 A.M.-8:00 A.M.
Kids Races-8:00 A.M.
One Mile Fun Run- 8:15 A.M.
5K Course- 8:35 A.M.
All proceeds benefit the United Way of Northwest Illinois as this event serves as their 2014-2015 Campaign Kick-off.
